How to Prep a Turkey...

was the turkey and remove the giblets.. there are 2 bags of them, so don't forget both.... run cold water inside the turkey and all over the top... pat dry with a cloth...
slice up onion and garlic... I used one whole onion and 4 cloves of garlic.. I like to mix some into my sauce and some for the inside of the turkey...
Stuff turkey with onions and garlic and 2 bay leaves... also drizzle the onions with olive oil before stuffing them in...
Mixture: Olive Oil, 1/2 stick melted butter (optional) rosemary, thyme, poultry seasoning, crushed black pepper, chopped garlic, dried mustard... mix all together and then separate the skin of the turkey and lather the turkey up inbetween the skin and meat, then on top, cover the entire turkey...

roast on 325 depending on how big the turkey is... it will say how long on the package... this turkey took 3 1/2 hours, it was so juicy and delicious... I forgot to take an after picture... until it was all cut up :(

but it was good... trust me..

In a bowl, combine cream cheese and egg yolk. Stir together with Parmesan cheese.
Add cooled sausage and cooled mushroom stems. Stir mixture together and refrigerate for a short time to firm up.
Smear mixture into the cavity of each mushroom, creating a sizable mound over the top.

Allow to cool at least ten minutes before serving; the stuffed mushrooms taste better when not piping hot.

It is a family's special recipe and it is worth every penny and lucky for you it is a decent price! I have used it on veggies, chicken and hamburgers last night and everything is so good and people even asked: "What is that spice you used?"  Sooo..
